SENER certifications

SENER has its own integrated quality, environmental and safety management system certified by AENOR in accordance with: 

• ISO 9001, quality management (the first Spanish engineering company to achieve this certificate).
• ISO 14001, environmental management.
• OHSAS 18001, health and safety in the workplace. 

The company is also certified as meeting the following specific regulations: 

• EN 9100, the benchmark for the aeronautical industry, and EN 9110, for aeronautical maintenance operations.
• AQAP/PECAL 2110/2210, for Defense projects.
• ISO 13485, for electromedical projects.
• UNE 166002, for its R&D&I system.

For projects that so require, we also apply sector-specific standards such as: 

• ANSI, ASME, API in industrial projects
• ECSS in projects for the Space sector.

SENER is also certified as meeting international standards on a voluntary basis. These standards help companies to set and objectively evaluate their quality management systems and help them compete in a global market, as they certify that the company’s products and/or services are safe, reliable and of a quality that meets international standards.
