SENER is set to present FORAN’s latest features at ICCAS 201725/09/2017 (Spain)
The Marine area of the SENER engineering and technology group and its subsidiaries in South Korea and China are taking part in the 18th International Conference on Computer Applications in Shipbuilding (ICCAS), which will be held from 26 to 28 September in Singapore.
The ICCAS is the most important biennial event in the field of information technology applied to shipbuilding. SENER will be one of the most active companies at the conference, as it will be presenting four technical articles on various aspects of its FORAN system. SENER is also one of the sponsors of the event and will have its own stand in the exhibition area.
The work that SENER is due to present during the technical sessions at the ICCAS are: Improvements in learning process and productivity. And analysis of the return of the investment; Virtual Reality empowered design; Tools for predicting parametric Rolling and its application for second generation intact stability criteria; and Naval ship design rules embodiment in a cad tool; all of which will be presented by different engineers from the company.
The FORAN system is an application at the cutting edge of technology for the design and production of vessels and marine structures, which SENER has been developing and marketing for over 50 years.
