SENER participates in the BIND 4.0 programme and joins industry 4.027/07/2017 (Spain)
SENER extends its commitment to innovation and technology through its participation in BIND 4.0, the public-private startup accelerator programme in the industrial sector, in the field of Industry 4.0. SENER is, in fact, a company of reference in the Aerospace, Infrastructures and Transport, Power, Oil & Gas, and Marine sectors, fields in which the engineering and construction firm is able to assume increasingly complex technological challenges through its extensive international operations.
The initiative led by the Basque Government seeks to attract the talent and innovation of emerging companies from all over the world, in order to bring them into contact with the Basque Country's industrial sector, thus guaranteeing access to first-degree clients. Industry 4.0 is driving the use of new technologies, such as Big Data, digitisation and interconnectivity.
With its collaboration in the BIND 4.0 programme, SENER is taking on the search and investigation for new and innovative technologies and applications for the development of industry 4.0, as well as incorporating talent and technology through selecting and signing up startups in their initial phases that fulfill the profile defined by the company.
The agreement covers partnerships for technological and non-technological fields of learning relating to activities of mutual interest, the exchange and transfer of knowledge between the two organizations, and training.[+]
