SENER, which currently supplies turnkey projects for aerostructure production and assembly lines, will be present at the Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit, to be held in Seattle on April 14 and 15.
SENER is now designing and delivering highly automated turnkey projects for aerostructure production and assembly lines for Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft. The company upholds its technological vocation in these projects by applying its expertise to the processes where the greatest challenges are at any given time. In this regard, SENER is aware of the following key challenges being faced by the aeronautics industry: increasing energy prices and the need to decrease emissions, which has resulted in the use of lighter materials that are combined for use in the structures of planes; and the growth in the popularity of air travel, which has led to the creation of dozens of new airlines and an unprecedented demand for planes.
As a result, SENER has embarked on a quest for more efficient planes and is taking part in programs such as Clean Sky. Furthermore, with ITP, SENER is an important partner for Rolls-Royce in the production of a new generation of engines.
Similarly, SENER develops products for the manufacture, assembly and testing of aeronautic components and equipment, including tooling, automated production lines and test benches, that are adapted to new production techniques and processes able to achieve the high production ratios currently required by large manufacturers.
