SENER recognised as a Family Responsible Company by Fundación MásFamilia28/05/2018 (Spain)
SENER has once again been recognised by Fundación MásFamilia as a Family Responsible Company (EFR, in its Spanish acronym), thanks to its commitment to the EFR model that involves improving the work and family relationships of its people. The award-giving ceremony took place on 24 May at the Spanish Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, and was presided over by the State Secretary of Social Services and Equality, Mario Garcés.
Numerous activities relating to quality in employment made SENER worthy of this recognition, including the company's people management policies, such as time and space flexibility, support for the family, professional development and competence, and equal opportunities. Further aspects that were taken into account for this award were SENER's investment in technical and language training for its workers, a flexible compensation plan, and parking spaces in the company.
SENER obtained the EFR certificate for the first time in 2009, after undergoing an internal and external audit that analysed the measures implemented by the company to improve its people's quality of life. Since then, it has been renewed each three years in a process that will be reactivated at the end of 2018.
The renewal of this certificate recognising SENER as a family responsible company contributes to the fulfilment of its corporate social responsibility policy. SENER's history is not only that of a company, but also that of the people whose spirit has opened up new avenues towards improving the world for us all. From its origins, more than 60 years ago, SENER has been committed to its people, society and the environment and for that reason demands a high level of responsibility in all its initiatives.
